Don’t Do Bored

Is the weather keeping you stuck inside with the kids? Well I found a few fun ideas to keep the boredom away and you just may enjoy them so much that you’ll keep it up!

Teach your children yoga and if you don’t

Learn At Home

Scholastic launched a “Learn at Home” website that had daily courses for students from Pre-kindergarten to grades 6 and higher. Though they said it would be open indefinitely, I’m no longer finding them. This doesn’t mean they’re gone, I just don’t see them. Even if gone, their site has printables for the kids and lots of information!

More Fun At Home

  • Initiate Theater Night! Help your children create costumes from old clothes, shoes, hats, and purses (can secretly double as a closet cleaning and Spring cleaning exercise!).

Everyone in the household can create their own play and you can even record them on your phone!

  • Conduct a treasure hunt! Similar to an Easter Egg hunt, or if your children are older, include a map and clues!

  • Make a Tent Town (posted HERE)

Create an obstacle course inside and/or out, and teach your dogs (and/or kids) new skills.
